General English Courses

English For Speakers of Other Languages

Each of these levels lasts for 16 weeks. Each week will consist of 25 contact hours. Students will be required to learn specific grammar skills in varied contextual situations.

 

Full Time Classes
Certificate of English Proficiency for Academic Purposes

Elementary

This level serves as an introduction to English but assumes students have had at least 2 years of formal education in English.

Prerequisites: None

Intermediate Level

Many students will start at this level.

Prerequisites: Pass in entry or placement via oral interview.

Upper Intermediate Level

This course brings in higher academic writing/speaking /reading/ listening skills and requires students to increase their active vocabulary in a more formal context.

Prerequisites: Completion of Intermediate to your teacher’s satisfaction or placement via oral interview

Advanced Level

This course will involve intense skills based activities with a focus on speaking and writing in an academic context.

Prerequisites: Completion of Advanced to your teacher’s satisfaction, 7 or better IELTS.

Part Time Classes

Part time English

Mornings Monday to Friday As part of the general class, students may study part time for a completion certificate.

Prerequisites: Placement test
