Code of Practice
English Advantage has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education.
Copies of the Code are available on request from this institution or from the New Zealand Ministry of Education website at http://www.minedu.govt.nz under International Education.
This code ensures that high professional standards are maintained in the school, that the school behaves ethically and responsibly, that the school provides complete and up-to-date information to the students, that the needs of international students are recognized and addressed, and that procedures are in place for resolving student grievances.
The Code of Practice protects your rights as an international student and you are encouraged to read and understand those rights.
If an international student's grievances are not resolved within the school procedures or if they feel that EnglishAdvantage has not acted in accordance with the Code of Practice, they may contact the International Education Appeal Authority:
